Networking opportunities are huge and I am loving it !!!

Now to get the PR job I want !!! VIVA !

March - June 2010
I successfully passed my Public Relations Management 1 short course with 94%...YEAH !
This short course is allowing me to understand the field of Public relations in order to ensure that I offer a fantastic service when I take on freelance opportunities in Communications and PR.

My lecturer, Deidre Porten is an expert in her field, currently heading the PR department at CPUT. I am excited about all the networking opportunities because the class is made up of a diverse group of working students from the fields of fashion, events management, NPO, state & corporate sectors.

This year is bound to be exciting !!! :-)

1 December 2009
I spent the day at the News Women's Movement offices. I assisted with making a creative string with AIDS ribbons on, out of cardboard and red paper which we hung up infront of their offices. See my picture gallery for pictures of the day.
We then had a BLITZ and spent about an hour and a half handing out condoms and info booklets to the public around the streets of the office.

It was quite an experience as it was my first BLITZ I took part in. YEAH !! To the members of NWM...I am also now an official member. :-)
